Wei Wai Kum is one of several First Nations that comprise the Liǧʷiłdax̌ʷ Nation. Collectively, our unceded territory extends from the northern end of Johnstone Strait to Qualicum River and includes the channels, rivers, fiords, islands and mountains, and resources between these two places. Wei Wai Kum people have long cared for and protected these lands and waters and hold them close to who we are as a people. We continue to honour our relationship with our lands and waters and continue to work as respectful stewards to ensure the wellbeing of our territory and all the life that it sustains.
